Renovation work is currently being undertaken on Guangzhou Bridge which connects Zhujiang New Town with Ersha Island and Kecun. With a total length of 1240 meters, it is the third bridge to cross the Pearl River in Guangzhou.
The renovation work mainly focuses on laying new asphalt on the road and repairing the pavement. Much of the work is done overnight from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.. The asphalting shall be completed this weekend and the entire renovation project by the end of August.
