Over 1,200 artists are ready now to stage Guangdong culture at Shanghai Expo in the coming Guangdong Week.
Guangdong Week, themed "Exciting Asian Games, Green Guangdong", will open today (July 28) and end on August 1. The five day event will bring the expo visitors Guangdong's Asian Games preparation, intangible cultural heritage, folk arts as well as Guangdong brands and enterprises promotion.
During the Guangdong Week, Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee will present 10,000 Asian Games and Asian Para Games tickets to lucky visitors and Shanghai citizens.
Since the opening of Shanghai Expo on May 1, Guangdong Pavilion has had over 2.2 million visitors.
