The largest Heavy Steel Structure Plant in South China, a three-stage construction project of Dongfang Electric Estuary Base, has been completed, making Guangzhou the biggest nuclear power processing base in the world.
It was said that the nuclear power plant, a three-stage construction project of Dongfang Electric Estuary Base jointly constructed by Guangzhou Construction Group Co., Ltd. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangzhou Hengsheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., was a part of post-disaster reconstruction of Dongfang Electric Group, with a construction area of 56,640 square meters.
After the new plant is put into use, the annual output of Dongfang heavy machines will be 5 complete 1000 MW Nuclear island equipment and 16 moisture separator reheaters, a breakthrough in the development of mass production of China's nuclear power equipment.
