Shenzhen City in the southern Guangdong Province has donated 2 million RMB (295,400 USD) to Zhouqu county in the northwestern Gansu Province, after the county was devastated by rain-triggered mudslides early Sunday (Aug 8).
The city government of Shenzhen has been raising money and relief goods for the people affected by the disaster, said Wang Rong, general secretary of the municipal committee of the Communist Party of China.

It is located in the southeast of the prefecture, the seat of which is about 276 km away from Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu.
