Police in Guangzhou have placed 13 people in criminal detention for gathering crowds with intent to disturb social order, and one person has been transferred to Tianhe District Procuratorate for prosecution.
Police say Xian Moubu gathered a group of people, which proceeded to obstructed construction with violence last Thursday at a site where collective property was being removed by the Tianhe district government, causing injury to some workers and damage to public property.
Tianhe police then arrested 14 people in the group and are now making every effort to track down all the others involved. They are asking them to give themselves up as soon as possible.
