Drivers in Guangzhou can finally relax after enduring a month-long traffic jam due to the renovation of the city's inner ring roads. Seventy kilometers of new asphalt has been laid, considerably improving driving conditions. The new smooth surface guarantees more stability and a less noisy environment inside the vehicle.
Drivers were happy to see the end of the roadworks Aug 23. "I hope no more inner ring roads will be in need of repair for at least ten years!" one driver said.
