The first team of 180 female city inspectors has started patrolling Guangzhou's streets, confiscating goods from peddlers and offering support ahead of the 16th Asian Games. Their task shall include explaining regulations and maintaining a peaceful and harmonious environment on the streets.
At the launch of this new team, Wang Qingliang, Mayor of Guangzhou, expressed his admiration for the bravery and undertakings of the city inspectors.
