A new tropical depression is gaining momentum and is likely to hit Nanhai tonight (Aug 23rd). As usual, western Guangdong will be affected with heavy rainstorms over the next 3 days. The Guangdong Drought and Flood Relief Headquarters have ordered all fishing boats to take shelter in the closest port as winds are expected to reach gale force 6-7.
