The Huadu District Tourism Bureau recently announced a plan to boost the district's profile as a tourist destination and to promote countryside tours in the district in anticipation of the upcoming Asian Games. Intensive preparations are currently underway for the promotion campaign.
During the promotion campaign, the public will be asked to vote for the district's top 10 agricultural products and home-style restaurants and the district's leading tourist attractions. Other major events will include the 2010 Huadu One-Day Countryside Tour, the second Huadu District Vanilla Cultural Festival, the first Huadu Jingdong Lotus Cultural Festival, and the second Tanbu Taro and Ancient Village Tourism and Cultural Month. These events will showcase the charms of Huadu's countryside tours.
