Consular Premise of Korea in Guangzhou starts construction

Kim Jang-hwan, Consul-General of Republic of Korea in Guangzhou and Jiang Zhufu, President of Guangdong International Engineering Consultant Corporation signed an agreement on the construction of the Korean consular premise in Chigang District on Sept 8.

Republic of Korea Consulate General in Guangzhou is the second consulate to build consular premise in Chigang Consular District after Thailand. According to the land use agreement signed last year, Republic of Korea will get a plot of 4000 square meters in the District to build the new premise by paying the land use fee.

Currently, there are 37 consulate generals in Guangzhou and the Chigang Consulate District has altogether 18 land plots for consular premise construction.
