The Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) held a press conference at the Main Press Centre (MPC), Asian Games Town, at 15:00pm on Tuesday, regarding public transportation services within Guangzhou City with Mr Tang Ruping, Director of Games Services Department of GAGOC, presenting a briefing on transportation services during the Games.

Tang said that Guangzhou's transportation system has been significantly upgraded with some 76 Asian Games bus lanes and six newly opened subway lanes now in service with extended service times.
