Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), came to the Guangzhou Shotgun Centre in Zengcheng to award the athletes on November 19.
Guangzhou Shotgun Centre is located in the White Waterfall of Zengcheng. It's famous for the excellent environment and it fully shows off the idea of Green Asian Games. The beautiful environment of the Guangzhou Shotgun Centre impressed not only the athletes competing there, but also the OCA President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, and Sun Shengwei, Head Coach of the Chinese Shotgun Team.
Meanwhile, the service at Guangzhou Shotgun Centre is pretty good. Volunteers provided elaborate services to the athletes, technical officials and the media and even prepared free fruit and dim-sum for spectators. Their service won appreciations of His Excellency, who once said he wanted to have a try of Lichee there. Sun Shengwei, Head Coach of the Chinese Shotgun Team, expressed his admiration of its beautiful environment and humanistic service.
The spectators also showed their hospitality. As citizens of the host city, they showed not only their love for the sports but their respects for the athletes. They turned off mobile phones while watching the competitions, and clapped for all athletes only when the traps were hit.
