The swimming center of Guangzhou Sports Training and Technical College was a training venue for Diving, Polo and Modern Pentathlon (swimming) during the 16th Asian Games. It opens to ordinary citizens on Dec 1st, 2010. This is the first Asian-Games venue returned to Guangzhou City public use, after the closure of this year's Asian Games. Along similar lines,, the college's integrated sports center whose construction has been recently completed will be open on Jan.1st, 2011.
