"An Ancient Capital and a Pearl in South China: Major Museums and Historic Sites in Guangzhou" and its Braille version
Those who don't have normal sight find inconveniences in standard life and education, Braille offers them a way to obtain knowledge and information. Guangzhou Museum on Yuexiu Mountain opened a special room for the blind and weak-sighted to visit the museum on December 6.
The museum was especially built in a 60-square-meter reading room, providing Braille and audio versions of computer services and history, fiction and science books. They have also replicated a bunch of art productions so that the blind can handle them for an understanding of the pieces.
On the same day, the museum inaugurated a ceremony for the Braille version publication of the "An Ancient Capital and a Pearl in South China: Major Museums and Historic Sites in Guangzhou." A photo exhibition by deaf artists designed to welcome the upcoming Asian Para Games was also open to show the beautiful city of Guangzhou through their lens.
