On the morning of December 21, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress held a briefing on the city's administration in 2010. According to Mayor Wan, the city's GDP this year through November surged 12.6% to 942.9 billion yuan, indicating that the city is on track to become a city with an annual GDP in excess of a trillion yuan.
