Baiyun Mountain and Cultural Park have prepared various decorative lanterns and theme activities for citizens for the Lantern Festival. There you will enjoy the blossoms and exhibitions on the day; watch lanterns and participate in many games in the night.
The Magic Cartoon Carnival activity launched on Feb 3 at the Baiyun Mountain Mingchungu scenic spot will continue until Feb. 17. Themed as the "Magic Carnival", the Baiyun Mountain authorities created "Magic Castle in Nanmengang". The Peak Galleria is decorated with large lanterns of "Lucy Rabbit brings mascot to the Spring Festival" and "Crown rabbit celebrating the New Year", etc.
LED decorative lanterns of "Magic" elements are hung on the ficus microcarpa trees in the Nengren Temple Parking Lot, the Peak Galleria and the Baiyun Wanwang. Direction boards in cartoon rabbit style are arranged along the avenue of ficus microcarpa to create this magical atmosphere.
The Lantern Festival in Cultural Park will match the theme of the Spring Festival Flower Show. Eighteen medium and large lantern sets and over 1000 mood creators will be shown in the Lantern Festival. Among the lantern sets are "Da Zhan Hong Tu", "Tong He Feng Nian", "San Tong Kai Tai", "Song Fu Tong Zi" and "Rui Qi Cheng Xiang", lucky boys, golden boys and jade girls, cartoon dragons and tigers in different patterns to wish us a happy New Year and bring the happy atmosphere and blessing of the New Year to us.
The two "important" large colored lantern sets of "Da Zhan Hong Tu" and "Tong He Feng Nian" are decorated with over 10 lucky boys in different expression and gesture, and with a unique "treasure" in their hands for greeting golden carp, golden wheat, flute, red bat and trumpet, etc.
In addition, the Cultural Park has prepared various lantern riddles to test the passengers. However, by contast the Baiyun Mountain display will carry out the separate activity of guessing lantern riddles on Mount Davis.
