A shelter costing 60,000 RMB is equipped with an advertisement board and a route board; one of 100,000 RMB, two boards for advertisement and one for route; one of 160,000 to 170,000 RMB, provides three advertisement and two route boards. Guangzhou will accelerate the construction of bus shelters and 200 will be built this year after the issue of the relevant rules. They will mainly be located in the North Baiyun Avenue (new Guang-Cong Highway) and the new sub-stations in the central district and surrounding district, thus creating more comfortable waiting areas for waiting passengers.
