Dongguan Government is working on a project which will provide emergency alarm monitoring services to the city s elderly of empty-nest families.
Mr. Yang Dongru, the Director of Dongguan Civil Affairs Bureau, on August 6 said Dongguan will install emergency alarm monitoring service for elderly of the empty-nest families in the city. Five families in Nancheng District have already installed the service, and the information of thirty elderly people in the District has been recorded. When in need of help, they can activate the remote control or the help button on mobile-like piece of equipment. This activation signal will be transferred to our 24 hour Central Monitoring Station where operators will answer their calls and assist them to resolve their distress with the appropriate action.
