Executive-Vice-President Li Yongsheng met with the president of University of Lyon

On the afternoon of March 25, Executive-Vice-President Li Yongsheng met with 8 representatives of the Region of Rhone-Alpes, led by Mr. Michel LUSSAULT, president of University of Lyon. The two sides made a briefing on their university respectively, reviewed the bilateral cooperation in education and research, explored the possibility of exchange and cooperation in the fields of architecture and urban planning, low-carbon cities, eco-campus and sustainable development in the framework of Shanghai Expo 2010, and exchanged ideas about the roles of universities in training the future competent and responsible students with global vision to, in attaching great importance to science and innovation, social responsibilities, and the role of demonstration and engine in nation-building.
