A Delegation Led by Member of the Japanese Diet Visits Tongji

On September 17th, a delegation led by member of the Japanese Diet, Ms. Akiko Santo, the Former Vice President of the House of Councilors visited Tongji University. Prof. Jiang Changjun, Vice President of Tongji met with the guests.

On behalf of Tongji University, Prof. Jiang Changjun expressed welcome words and made an overview on the S&T research and social achievements Tongji had made in the past years. The collaboration with Japanese academic institutes was also introduced. Presentations of JST and RIKEN were then made by Mr. Kazuki Okimura and Mr.Takuo Ohata. Each side expressed the expectation to further the collaboration and up the level of cooperation.
