UIUC Associate Dean of Academic visited Tongji

On March 18, President Pei Gang, Vice President Chen Xiaolong and Assistant President Wu Zhiqiang met Babara Minsker, Associate Dean of Academic from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). They discussed in-depth about the further cooperation in various fields.
At the meeting, President Pei introduced the Excellent Engineers Program of Tongji University and other international cooperation projects especially with the goal of establishing sustainable university. He also emphasized the cooperative education agreement between Tongji and UIUC and expressed interests in further student and staff exchange between the two universities.
