Prof. Pao-Shan Yu, Cheng Kung University, Taiwan visited Tongji University

On March 16, a delegation led by Prof. Pao-shan Yu, Dean of College of Engineering, Cheng Kung University, visited Tongji for promoting collaboration in civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering and software engineering.
Prof. Dong Qi, the Vice President of Tongji, introduced the recent development at Tongji, especially the Excellent Engineer Education Platform and agreed to establish a long-term collaboration strategy for credit recognition, exchange programs, especially the double degree program for postgraduate, which will provide more opportunities for young people from Mainland and Taiwan to make friends and learn from each other. An MOU was signed between Tongji and Cheng Kung in 2008 and students from both universities have the chance to do exchange study for one semester.
