Vice-President of University of Pittsburgh visited Tongji

On Feb. 16, Prof. Arthur Levine, Vice-President of University of Pittsburgh and Dean of School of Medicine visited Tongji University and met with Prof. Pei Gang, the President of Tongji University, accompanied by director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office and general secretary of School of Medicine of Tongji University.


It was the second visit of Prof. Levine since his first visit in last December, on which the two universities signed MOU on cooperation. Prof. Pei Gang introduced Tongji s efforts after signing the MOU. Prof. Levine updated at the meeting the change of situation occurred in University of Pittsburgh during the last two months. Then the two presidents had a warm and detailed discussion on cooperation in education, research and patient care. After identifying specific research areas jointly, the two sides set goals for the next step of action respectively.
