Insigma Software Outsourcing Industrial Park was awarded the rare honor of being designated as Hangzhou s Service Outsourcing Demonstration Area. It is reported that to speed up the development of the city s outsourcing industry and further promote the conglomeration of service outsourcing businesses, Hangzhou Municipal Government publicized the list of three Service Outsourcing Demonstration Areas in accordance with the requirement stated in the Three-year Development Plan for Promoting Hangzhou s Service Outsourcing Industry .
Located near Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, Insigma Software Outsourcing Demonstration Park is over 43000 square meters and currently staffs over 2000 employees and growing. The whole park is scheduled to be completed in 2010. By then it will become the operation and management center for the firm s SaaS, ITO, and BPO businesses. And when conditions matures, it is to gradually bring in modern service outsourcing businesses like call centers and supervision centers to help Hangzhou become an outsourcing, world software factory industry cluster, with IT and software outsourcing as its mainstay. Meanwhile, the demonstration park will become the province s biggest outsourcing training base for North American and European software and bring limitless numbers of talented workers to Hangzhou s outsourcing industry.
In planning Hangzhou s modern service industry development, Insigma Software Outsourcing Demonstration Park has already become a centerpiece of the city s focus to build a Golden Triangle of modern service industry, and it stands as an important part of the Science and Technology Park of Zhejiang University.
As the public service platform of Hangzhou s software outsourcing operation, the Demonstration Park, taking full advantage of its domestically advanced hardware environment and industry clustering effect, will contribute to the transfer of international services, attraction of outsourcing business of high-end clients to Hangzhou, and accomplishment of the city s industrial structural transform.
