Vice Mayor Tong Visits Insigma Park

Nov.26,2007, a group of senior officials, led by Vice Mayor of Hangzhou Guili Tong and vice secretary-general Zude Dong, including other high-rank officials from Hangzhou Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, Information Office, Finance Bureau, Statistics Bureau, Construction Committee, Westlake District, Economic and Technological Development Zone and High-tech Industry Development Zone, visited Insigma Software Outsourcing Industry Park. The delegation was warmly received by Insigma Technology Corp s top leaders, including CEO Lie Shi and two vice presidents Xiaohu Yang and Wei Xie.

Insigma Technology CEO Lie Shi first extended his great gratitude for the Vice Mayor s visit, and Wei Xie, the company s vice president, offered a detailed introduction of the park to the visitors. According to Xie Wei, apart from its main business of software outsourcing industry, the Park also plans to introduce, in a proper time, some new equipment services such as calling center, supervision center, BPO and so forth to make the Park an integrative area for outsourcing industries.

Enquired by Vice Mayor Tong about the Park s accessory facilities, President Shi and Vice President Xie elaborated to the guests, for instance, the Double-Circuit Power Supply System and the self-prepared generator that guarantees non-stop electric power supply in the park, and the domestically state-of-the-art purifying system which provides the staff with a more comfortable working condition. Furthermore, to ensure unimpeded information transmission to the outside, a couple of telecommunication operators were invited to set up high-speed digital communication platform. By well-funded investment and high standard, Insigma Park stands in a leading position in respect of hardware construction in China.

Vice President Xie remarked that the Park would make full use of Zhejiang University s advanced technology and rich human resource to make itself, based on Insigma s outsourcing business platform, a training and practice base directly for software outsourcing talents. And the output of qualified talents can be continuous if the outsourcing businesses could be better integrated with production, study and research. With her high appreciation on it, Vice Mayor Tong also indicated that it s always the concern of the Municipal Government to have more qualified software outsourcing talents, which is also specially funded by the local government.
