June, 7th, the 2010 National Golden Card Project Outstanding Achievement Award Golden Ant Award ceremony was held in Beijing. Insigma s mobile handset citizen card project was selected by the nation s Golden Card Project Coordination Steering Committee as winner of the National Golden Card Project Outstanding Achievement Award Golden Ant Award.
Insigma has been deploying citizen card projects with mobile payment applications in multiple cities including Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jiangyin, and Tieling. This is the third consecutive year for Insigma to be awarded such prestigious awards by the National Golden Card Project Office, marking Insigma s leading position in the citizen card technologies.

Insigma s mobile handset citizen card project (citizen card with payment enabled mobile phones) provides citizens in cities such as Tieling with convenient payment features. Citizens may have their mobile handsets SIM card replaced with a specialized UIM/SIM card at the mobile service provider s operation office to activate mobile payment function for their citizen cards. In addition to serving as a normal mobile phones supporting phone calls, SMS, and net surfing, etc., the mobile handset with citizen card function also supports payment for public bus, shopping, parking, etc.
