CAS to set up an S&T Park in Shanghai

The ground-breaking ceremony for the CAS Pudong Science and Technology Park was held on 30 December in Shanghai. Party Secretary of Shanghai YU Zhengsheng and CAS President LU Yongxiang pushed a button together to mark the kick-off of the construction of the 105-hectare CAS base for new technology development on the east side of the Huangpu River. A total of 1.3 billion yuan will be invested to the first stage development of the Park, which will include a platform for new drug development and facilities for protein studies.
