Chairman Liu Selected Amongst Top 10 Business Leaders

March, 27, co-sponsored by West China City Daily and Yahoo China, Exemplar of China 2009 released its selection of Top 10 Business Larders. Board Chairman of Tongwei Group, Mr. Liu Hanyuan was selected and attended the awarding ceremony.

During the interview at the ceremony, Chairman Liu explained his understanding of leader : leaders are the individuals and corporations whoever can promote economic, cultural and social progress by their products and service. He continued, Tongwei has enabled China s aquaculture products to enjoy a more than 10-fold increase in the sector during the past 30 years. China has become the top country whose aqua-product output exceeds 1/3 of the world s total, and aquaculture production exceeds 2/3 of the world s total. Thus, in the next 30 years, we will do more and do much better in this aspect to make sure we have food with guaranteed safety.

Under Chairman Liu s leadership, Tongwei has reached its elite status as an enterprise that tallied 26.2 billion RMB in sales in 2009 from the initial starting fund of 500 RMB at the business inception.
