At the interview, Chairman Liu introduced the background of Tongwei s entering into the polysilicon industry. He said, the revolution of energy involves each every individual, as well as all the nations. It will be a promising industry which will greatly drive the world s economy. In 10 years time, China will be able to produce over 70% of the world s polysilicon and modules.

In terms of overcapacity, Chairman Liu gave a reminder that there might be overcapacity at different phases. It is necessary to be aware of investment risks. Speaking of price, he continued, the emergency of all new things requires paying a price. We need to distinct what the mainstream is and what the discord is. We cannot give up making renovations for fear of a little trouble. Instead, it is important to understand the essence and nature of this good opportunity, which is of great importance to China and Chinese people.

Chairman Liu pointed out, the reason why human beings have basically been at a stage of relatively primitive, primary, initial and slow growth during the past 5,000 years was because of the limit of energy volume converted from plants and crops. Since the beginning of modern industrial revolution, the fast development of late 100 200 years civilization was at the price of consuming energy storage. When the technology of exploring the stored energy made a breakthrough, we got the energy source required by development. But due to the unsuitability and ecocrisis, we need to search new energy alternative for future development.

It will keep making all-out efforts to remain the world largest feed producer, and keep its advantage of variety improvement, quality control and traceability system.
