The Economic Prosperity program from CCTV invited and interviewed Mr. Liu Hanyuan, Standing Committee member of the CPPCC, and Board Chairman of Tongwei Group on starting business rationally.
During the interview, Mr. Liu mentions three aspects that the business starters need to consider. Firstly, how much future potential the business and the sector or industry it belongs to have; secondly, whether its future farming methods, production methods or industrial development mode conforms to your own desire to start business; thirdly, as a business starter, whether your business assumptions and your hobbies match the business you want to do; whether you have adequate capital, energy and time to ensure the devotion to the business and career. He added, as long as you learn hard, and know what can be done, what cannot be done; as long as you persevere in doing it and treat every detail carefully; as long as there are opportunities in market, the opportunity will be yours.
For those people who are starting or already started business, Mr. Liu said, no matter where it is, it is of course better to start business if the conditions are ripe. Yet, on the other hand, if there are good enterprises and employment opportunities, joining the mature industry and companies is also an alternative to starting business. It is also a better optimized form of reasonable division of labor in society.
