SANY Heavy Industry Designated as Innovation-oriented Pilot Enterprise

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and All-China Federation of Trade Unions jointly issued the Notification on Determining of the Second Batch of Innovation-oriented Pilot Enterprises, in which 184 enterprises including SANY Heavy Industry were designated.
According to reports, the pilot work of innovation-oriented enterprises jointly implemented by three ministries or commissions aims at intensifying the support for enterprises'independent innovation, leading the enterprising onto a path of innovative development, so as to facilitate the emergence of a group of innovation-oriented enterprises with independent intellectual property rights, renowned brands and sustained innovation capabilities. The enterprises designated in this Notice will receive various supports from the State, mainly including participating in the implementation of programs of National Science and Technology Plan; being given priorities to establish State key laboratories and State engineering technology research centers; acting as the leading units for developing technical standards; and being given priorities to take part in pilot work of enterprise standards.
By seizing this opportunity of being designated as a national innovation-oriented pilot enterprise, SANY Heavy Industry will focus on improving its innovation strategy, innovation mechanism, technical innovation platform as well as its test and inspection system for construction machinery; emphasize on research of such key technologies as concrete pumping, intelligent control of construction machinery and advanced manufacturing and critical service technologies of construction machinery, thus bringing about a series of core technologies with completely independent intellectual property rights.
