On the evening of August 4, 2010, the opening ceremony of the Hisense Showroom in Teheran, Iran was held successfully. More than sixty distributors and dealers from all over Iran came to attend the ceremony. Others who attended were Mr. Huang Xiaojian, Vice-General Manager of Hisense International; Mr. Sun Jiayin, Director of Asia Sales Department; Mr. Etminan, CEO of the Hisense Agent in Iran: and Iranian government and trade representatives. Mr. Huang Xiaojian and Mr. Etminan together cut the ribbon for the Hisense Showroom. Meanwhile, Mr. Huang gave an excellent speech that introduced Hisense s history and future strategies, giving the distributors and dealers a deeper understanding of the company and strengthening their confidence.

Hisense entered the Iranian market in 2007, and signed contracts with a local agent officially in 2008 for the brand business. The newly built Hisense Showroom, located in the downtown commercial area of electronics in Teheran, exhibits the complete range of Hisense products that include TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators, small household appliances, etc. The high-tech Hisense products, paired with the impressive new showroom, exemplify Hisense s high-end image. Media outlets in Iran covered the event and brought exposure to the brand.

In the first half of 2010, the sales for Hisense Iran had increased by 200%. More than 40,000 Hisense air conditioners were sold in the country, which is fourth in the market following LG, SAMSUNG and General. The opening of the high-end Hisense Showroom serves as a great step forward for Hisense s rise in Iran.
