Smooth Delivery of 4250TEU Container Vessel Xin Quan Zhou to CSCL

In the afternoon of May 25, 2005, the new 4250TEU container vessel, Xin Quan Zhou, was smoothly delivered at a wharf (#7) of Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. The new container vessel was then put into CSCL domestic lines.
The container vessel was the second one of five 4250TEU container ships being built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group, among which the first 4250TEU container vessel, Xin Yang Shan had already been smoothly delivered to CSCL and put into operation on April 15, 2005.
According to the shipbuilding contract, Xin Quan Zhou is schedule to be delivered on September 30, 2005. With efforts of Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., Xin Quan Zhou was delivered ahead of schedule. CSCL Director & General Manager Jia Hongxiang awarded the manufacturer and cast loose the new vessel together with Zhu Genrong, Chief Supervisor from the manufacturer.
On behalf of CSCL, Vice General Manager Li Xueqiang signed vessel-delivery documents. Ms. Becky Goodrum, Regional Sales Manager of China Shipping (North America) Holding Co., Ltd. named the new vessel.
