CSCL actively expands the market and enhances global service ability

CSCL actively expands the market by expanding coverage of service network and improving line arrangement to enhance its overall global service operation capacity and provide customers with better and faster services. In addition, the group strengths line cooperation this year in order to reduce operation costs. In the first half of year 2006, six main lines and two branch lines were newly opened including cooperative lines, all of which have achieved excellent benefit.
Far eat --- Middle east --- American West Line AMA
On March 10, 2006, CSCL opened AMA pendulum line solely operated by CSCL with nine 4,250TEU vessels, and it called at the following ports: Shanghai /Ningbo /Chiwan/ Kelang /Jebel Ali /Jawaharlal / Kelang / Laem Chabang /Hongkong/Yantian/ shanghai /Ningbo/ Los Angeles.
South American West Line ACSA
On March 17, 2006, CSCL cooperated with CMA and MARUBA to open a cooperative line ACSA and it called at the following ports: Hongkong /Chiwan/Shanghai/Busan/ Manzanillo / Quetzal / Acajutla / Corinto / Caldera / Buenaventura / Callao / San Antonio / St. Vincent. Totally there were eleven 1,850TEU vessels in service for this line including one from CSCL with weekly space number of 146-184TEU.
Far east --- American West line AAC2
On April 12, 2006, CSCL cooperated with CMA to open AAC2 line, and it called at the following ports: Shanghai/Ningbo/ Los Angeles. There were four 4,250TEU vessels in service for this line including two from CSCL.
Europe --- American East line EAX
On March 15, 2006, CSCL cooperated with CMA to open EAX line, and it called at the following ports: Le Havre / Antwerp / Rotterdam / Bremen /Liverpool/New York/Baltimore/ Norfolk. There were four 2,500TEU vessels in service for this line including two from CSCL
Europe --- American gulf line EAG
On June 4, 2006, CSCL cooperated with CMA and HML to open EAG line, and it called at the following ports: Le Havre / Antwerp / Rotterdam / Bremen / Charleston / Miami / Veracruz /Altamira/ Houston. There were five 2,500TEU vessels in service for this line including two from CSCL
Middle east --- Europe line MEE
Since March 7, 2006, CSCL has begun exchange cooperation with Iran Shippping. The weekly space number for CSCL is 125TEU, and it calls at the following ports: Abbas / Dubai / Jawaharlal / Malta / Felixstowe /Hamburg/ Antwerp / Le Havre / Genoa /Malta/ Jeddah / Abbas.
Middle east branch line
On March 26, 2006, CSCL put into one 1,000TEU vessel for the operation and called at: Dubai/ Abbas /Qasim.
Mediterranean branch line IAX
Since June 4, 2006, CSCL has begun exchange cooperation with Zim Shipping. The weekly space number for CSCL is 100/140TEU and it calls at the following ports: Ashdod /Haifa/ Koper / Trieste / Venice.
CSCL will continue to expand the market and launch new lines. On August 22, 2006, the group will cooperate with CMA for a new European Line No.7 with eight 9,600TEU vessels, including four vessels from CSCL, and it will call at the following ports: Ningbo /Shanghai/Yantian/Hongkong/ Kelang / Le Havre / Rotterdam /Hamburg/ Zeebrugge.
Opening of new lines will continuously improve the global line network and enhance service ability, which enables CSCL to provide customers with higher efficient services with better quality.
