China Shipping Group held 2007 Container Transport Arrangement Meeting

On Jan.19, 2007, China Shipping Group held 2007 Container Transport Arrangement Meeting. Xiongwei, section chief of Water Transport Department, Ministry of Communications, and Liupeng, assistant consultant were invited to attend the meeting. They addressed speeches and congratulated on the opening of the meeting. More than 200 people including the representatives of the coastal area and Yangtze River ports, customs and shippers attended the meeting. Director cum Vice General Manager of China Shipping Container Lines, Zhao Hongzhou presided at the meeting.
President of China Shipping Group cum Board Chairman of China Shipping Container Lines, Li Shaode addressed speech at the meeting, expressed sincere thanks to the support from the ports related units and shippers to the container transport of China Shipping Group in the past year, hoped to strengthen the cooperation, insist on scientific development and realize mutual benefit in the new year.
Vice President of China Shipping Group cum Vice Board Chairman of China Shipping Container Lines, Zhang Guofa summarized the meeting. Director cum General Manager of China Shipping Container Lines, Huang Xiaowen, proclaimed the completion of container transport of China Shipping Container Lines in 2006 and the related scheme for 2007 lines arrangement, expecting to get more support from the units present.
All the ports representatives exchanged views and expressed their will to continue to enhance the cooperation with China Shipping Group jointly develop container transport, better improve port load-unload capability and service quality.
The meeting was a great success. Delegates present at the meeting were thankful for the meeting, as it provided a platform to exchange and communicate information. They expressed their will to consider and carry out the proposed suggestions at the meeting, make good service and linkage of ports and shipping, endeavor to achieve the new development of container transport in 2007 together.
