China Shipping Group Held 2007 Global Forwarding Work Conference

On Feb. 9-10 2007, China Shipping Group held 2007 Global Forwarding Work Conference in Sanya City, Hainan Province with over 230 participants from holdings company, representative office, solely-owned forwarder, co-invested forwarder and agents across 87 countries and regions, President Li Shaode of China Shipping Group, Party-Secretary Ma Zehua, Vice President Zhang Guofa and other officers of the Company from related departments, China Shipping Container Lines, Puhai Shipping Company and Continental Lines attended the meeting.
President Li Shaode addressed an important speech on the meeting, he recalled the development of the container shipping business of China Shipping Goup in the past year, affirmed the achievements of all forwarders in tallying work, client service, market exploration and others, required China Shipping Container Lines and all forwarders to establish service awareness, strive for new breakthroughs in back journey consignment, quality consignment, VIP clients service and improvement of basic shipping consignment proportion centered with the concept of Careful Organization, Lean Management to Forge Quality Service and economical efficiency. President Li Shaode also highlighted market exploration work for all forwarders in preparation to the successful launch and operation of Europe/South American and other new services, while Vice President Zhang Guofa made a summary speech in the final session.
Director cum General Manager Huang Xiaowen of China Shipping Container Lines introduced 2007 stowage and service planning of China Shipping Container Lines, pointed the existing problems and misconducts of the forwarders, listed his work requirements for 2007 forwarding. He also signed Operation Performance Bond Letter with all holding companies, representative offices and directly-affiliated forwarders on behalf of China Shipping Container Lines. There also held North American Domestic Equipment Control, Bach Journey Tally Work and Finance Work sessions respectively.
Forwarders form Senegal, Dominica, Puerto Rico, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and other countries and regions made their respective speeches in the meeting, introduced their market share and swore to fulfill all task allocated as one member of China Shipping Group since their join-in in the last year to contribute more to the container shipping industry of China Shipping Container Lines.
