China Shipping Signed Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Qin Huangdao Port

On the morning of Oct. 31, the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement was signed between China Shipping (Group) Company and Qin Huangdao Port Group Co., Ltd. Mr. Li Shaode, President of China Shipping, and Mr. Huang Jianhua, Board of Chairman of Qin Huangdao Port signed the agreement and addressed the speech respectively.
China Shipping and Qin Huangdao Port has a profound friendship for a long time. Especially in the area of coastal coal transport, the two sides have always maintained a close cooperation to ensure all major power plants in the coastal area and meet key users needs. This time, based on the principle of powerful alliance, complementary advantages, win-win cooperation and common development , the two sides established a long term strategic partnership to achieve the high efficient combination between shipping and port, which will provide the clients and the market with a better and higher-quality service.
Based on the agreement, the two sides are willing to work together to promote the Qin Huangdao Port Container Terminal cooperation and the development of container transport operations. The two sides are also willing to promote the cooperation in the area of coal transport, support the development of seaborne coal trading market in Qin Huangdao, strengthen the cooperation in capitals and other aspects, and establish a regular high-level meeting system between the two sides.
Altogether more than 120 persons, including Mr. Wang Santang, Party Secretary of the city, as well as the leadership of the municipal government, persons from relevant departments of Hebei Province, the major owner representatives, and persons from China Shipping and Qin Huangdao Port, attended the signing ceremony.
