China Shipping Cambodia Agent Company Awarded 2004 MRC Gold Prize

On November 19 21, 2004, the 5th Greater Mekong River Commission was held in Cambodia, the UN Asia and Pacific Commission, the 6 countries of the Greater Mekong River Commission GMS-BF , namely, China, Viet Nam, Burma, Thailand and Laos, and Asia Development Bank jointly hosted the meeting. Mr. Mao Xinqin participated in the meeting as the member of Cambodia General Commerce. At the meeting, the discussion covered the cooperation and development in the Mekong River area, and the agenda of 2005. Prizes were awarded on November 20.
Through the preparation and screening for half a year, the prize winners were chosen, in which 20 gold prize winners were from southeast Asia, and Mr. Mao Xinqin, director manager of China Shipping Cambodia Agent Co. Ltd. was awarded 2004 Mekong River Commission Gold Prize. In the letter from China Shipping Cambodia, it said that the prize was attributable to Captain Li Kelin, president of China Shipping Group, his the far-insight decision in Mekong River development and the full support and care of China Shipping Container Lines Co. Ltd. and China Shipping Singapore Holdings. It was also a special honor to China Shipping Group for its development of agent services in southeast Asia. China Shipping Cambodia was the only foreign-invested company and the only shipping agent company awarded the gold prize. We shall take this as our driving force, continue to make better and stronger China Shipping services, contributing our effort to make China Shipping a world first class shipping company.
