Mr. Li Shaode Meets CSCL Crews at USA

November 5, 2004, Mr. Li Shaode, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of China Shipping Group, Mr. Wang Enlin, Deputy Director of the Party Organization Department of China Shipping Group, Mr. Zhao Hongzhou, Vice General Manager of China Shipping Container Lines Co. Ltd., etc. went to visit USA. They investigated China Shipping North America Holdings Ltd. and other institutions of China Shipping in North America as well as the relevant wharf companies, they also went on board to see the sailors of CSCL at the ports.
Mr. Li listened to the business report by Mr. Zhang Bing, President of China Shipping North America Holdings Ltd. and other relevant personnel, and he shared with them the excellent situation of China Shipping Group in January to October this year. He fully affirmed the good performance of CSCL in the first 10 months this year with the heavy container transportation on US line exceeding 700,00 TEU and large-scale rise in benefit and the service quality on the line, he high praised the selfish devotion spirit of all the employees of China Shipping North America Holdings Ltd. and the Agent Company who took as first priority of the interest of China Shipping, overcame problems, worked hard and actively developed the overseas services for China Shipping Group. He pointed out that with the rapid development of China Shipping, the business of China Shipping in North America shall further expand, and he hoped China Shipping North America Holdings Ltd. and all its employees continue to exert all efforts and make still more achievements.
During his visit in US, Mr. Li together with Mr. Zhang Bing, President of China Shipping North America Holdings Ltd., went on board Xin Qinhuangdao Vessel anchored in Los Angeles and Xin Chongqing Vessel at Long Beach, investigating the vessel operation and safety and expressed warm regards to the crew members. He encouraged the crews to make full use of the good opportunity of the development and expansion of the Group, pay importance to the navigation safety, save fuels, reduce the navigation cost and properly conduct the PSC and ISPS inspections, etc. and strive to Uphold new trend and be the best . When he knew that Xin Qinhuangdao Vessel was assessed as Excellent by US port officials in PSC/ISPS inspection, he highly praised the professional ability and the vigor of CSCL crew, called on them to work hard with the spirit to Build CSCL Spirit and Become the World Navigation Leader , exhibiting the demeanor of CSCL sailors of this new epoch on the floating territory and win glory for our country.
