The light rails of CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. exported to Mashad, Iran, were loaded onto the transport ship at Heshang Island, Dalian, on November 16, 2010.
This is the first export project of its kind in China, and the also the first time for the low-floor light rail vehicles (LFLRVs) Created by CNR to go abroad. These vehicles once are shipped there will help Mashad solve the problem that the route has been completed but there are no vehicles are available to serve for years. Mashad is the third largest city of Iran. The light rails exported to the city are the 70% LFLRVs. The body of the vehicle is made of carbon steel, beautiful in shape, light and eco-friendly. The product reflects the top-notch light rail R&D level of China.
The CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. has no match in China in LFLRV R&D, and also ranks atop in this filed around the world.
