Lvyuan District Government and Changchun Haijixing Agricultural Products Logistics Corporation reached an agreement on December 14, 2010.
The two sides agreed to create Changchun Haijixing Agricultural Products Logistics Destitution Center. The first-phase project will be started in April, tested in September, and then opened in late October 2011. Changchun Vegetable Wholesale Market will be moved to the center after it is completed. Meanwhile, through integrating market and commodity resources, a unified marketplace covering vegetables, fruits, meats, poultries, seasonings, aquatic products, flowers, cooking oils, foods and special local products and famous brands will be built so that one-card and one-stop shopping can be realized.
Upon its operation, the center is expected to see over 3 million tons of commodities worth RMB 10 billion traded and RMB 200 million realized in profit and tax every year. And it may help 30,000 to 50,000 people get employed. Integrating wholesale, trading, processing, storage and distribution of agricultural products, e-business, and inspection and testing as well as import and export trade, it will be created into the largest and the most functional modern agricultural products distribution center with the most advanced trading approach and method in Northeast China and even in Northeast Asia.
