Chairman Tu met with guests from Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency

Mr. Brian R. Dick, senior vice-president of Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), visited Invest Beijing International on the morning of Oct 31th, 2006. Chairman of the Board, Mr. Tu Xingjian, and vice president Mr. Han Litao welcomed Mr. Dick and his visiting group.

Mr. Tu briefly introduced IBI and the inbound and outbound investment priorities and policies of Beijing to Canadian guests, and suggest that both side should intensify their collaboration on natural resources, environmental and manufactory industries. Mr. Dick also briefed the economy and investment environment of Atlantic area of Canada to his Chinese counterparts. And being positioned similarly as IBI, ACOA will facilitate collaboration of enterprises from two countries in the area of environmental protection, especially waste disposal, and creative industry besides the traditional fishery and sea production. At the same time, ACOA will intensify her connection with IBI by project information sharing and visit exchange.
