On March 30, Dr. Colleen Skidmore, the Interim Dean of Arts School of University of Alberta ( the U of A) and Dr. Cen Huang, the Acting Director of International Relations & Recruitment, the U of A visited Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU). Professor. Zhu Shihong, Party Secretary of SWPU, and professor Du Zhimin, President of SWPU, had a meeting with them. The heads of the Office of Chinese Party Committee Organization, President Office and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange together attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Professor Zhu Shihong expresses his hope that mutual friendship and cooperation will be deepened and developed through future efforts. President Du Zhimin introduces SWPU to the guests. Dr. Colleen Skidmore has the idea that there are many similarities between SWPU and the U of A, and both schools have the intention of international cooperation.
