Prof. Henric Blomgren, Head of the Department of Industrial Economics and Management of the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden visited SDUST on April 11. Prof. Jin Fengxiang, Vice-President of SDUST met with the guest in the company of senior staffs from International Office of SDUST and College of Economics and Management.
The Vice-President introduced history of SDUST and resent developments with a special mention of the present tri-campus pattern, the faculty and student cultivation. He said that SDUST, as a comprehensive key university of Shandong Province, stands out for its general performance and is approved by all circles. The University stresses international exchange in the trend of internationalization and has established cooperative programs with high learning institutions in countries like the United States, Australia, Germany, France, the Republic of Korea, etc. Prof. Liu Xiangxin and his party visited Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden last year, which laid a foundation for bilateral cooperations. He hoped that visit of Prof. Henric Blomgren would help to initiate future ties between the two institutions.
Prof. Blomgren appreciated hospitality of SDUST and gave a detailed introduction of the Royal Institute of Technology. He hoped that Swedish students could come to China to study Chinese culture and management. The Professor also had exchanges with some faculty of the College of Economics and Management.
