On the evening of Sept. 16, 2010, Prof. Zheng Qiang, Vice Party Secretary of ZhejiangUniversity, Yangtze Scholar specially appointed by the State Ministry of Education, was invited to deliver a lecture in the Shiing-shen Lecture Hall . Prof. Zheng is also the winner of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Youths, and he has been awarded the Most Popular Teacher among the students of ZhejiangUniversity. The title of his lecture is The National Education, the Mass s Quality, and the China s Renaissance---Contemporary University Students Way of Making and their Historical Obligation .
Party Secretary Hu Jianchen attended the lecture while the Vice Party Secretary Xia Yueping presided over the meeting. More than 1,000 students and teachers were in the audience.
