President of SMU Lectures for Shanghai Oriental Rostrum

On November 25, as an invited speaker, Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU lectured for Shanghai Oriental Rostrum, a famous TV program to Shanghai News Channel. President Yu delivered a speech with the theme of Development of Shanghai International Shipping Center, which had drawn enthusiastic responses.
President Yu briefed on the construction of Shanghai international shipping center. Following reviewing the long history of Shanghai Port, Jiangnan Shipyard, China Merchants Group as well as Shanghai Maritime University, he elaborating the close relationship between shipping industry and daily life of local people, trade and finance.
Shanghai Oriental Rostrum enjoys high reputation in Shanghai and Yangtze River Delta region. The lecture given by Prof. Yu is the very first one concerning shipping in last years. It will be broadcasted throng Shanghai News Channel on December 26, 2010.
