Teachers and Students Celebrated the Near Year s Eve Together with Warm Affections

At the night of lunar New Year s Eve, for different reasons, instead of going home and reuniting with their parents, more than 70 students had to stay at school. In order to let them feel the warm of family, and spend a happy and auspicious spring festival, the University carefully arranged a sumptuous New Year s Eve dinner and colorful activities. Chen Ning, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Liu Jia, office director, Bo Wanlin, general manager of the logistics group, leaders of some departments and colleges and leaders of the Office of Student s Apartment had dinner with the students. Zhang Runjie, deputy director of the Postgraduate s Office, Li Gang, deputy director of the Student s Office, and Xu Hui, deputy secretary of Youth League committee gave the package of love which contains phone card, articles for study and consumer goods as gift to each student.

5 students from Tibet unveiled the curtain of the evening party with their songs in Tibetan language. A student from Guangxi presented everybody a classic aria from Liu Sanjie. Deputy secretary Chen Ning also sang together with the students, pushing the atmosphere of the party to an upsurge. In the party, teachers and students talked with each other in a close manner and welcomed the brand new year together in the sound of songs and laughter.
