The 2006 graduate ceremony was held in the stadium of the north campus on the afternoon of June 28th, 2006. All the university leaders, principals of every college and department, tutors, parents and more than 600 graduates presented at the commencement.
President Xu Xiangyuan encouraged the graduates to set long-range goals and to link their future with the country s fate. In his speech, he also advanced his wishes for the graduates.
There are totally 662 graduates of 2006, among which there are 69 doctors, 592 masters. There are 749 graduates who received their academic degree, among which there are 49 doctors, 593 masters(two foreign graduates), 79 master of education, 2 university academic faculty and 25 of coequal educational level.
