American Delegation of Westfield State College Visit our University

On October 31, the delegation of Westfield State College in Massachusetts State of U.S.A visited our university for the first time. The six-member delegation is led by Mr. Evan Dovelle, the president of Westfield State College, and Ms. Mary Larivce, chairwoman of its foundation. Vice president Zhou Jianshe and the dean of International Education College Liu Xiaotian and other personnel welcomed the visitors.
The two parties signed an inter-university cooperation frame agreement, and planned to send undergraduates to Westfield State College for communication and study from the autumn of 2009. President Evan Dobelle pays much attention to broadening international vision for American students, and expected to increase its foreign cooperation partnership every year.
In spring of 2010, Westfield State College will send a short-term visiting and study group to our university for communication. The internationalization of our university keeps developing, and until now we have established cooperation and communication channels with 133 foreign universities and educational institutes.
