Second Round of Afternoon Tea Comes as Expected

The second round of President Invites You For Afternoon Tea was launched as expected on March 25. Enchanted with elegant music and drinking fragrant red tea, about 40 students had an open discussion with the President Mr. Liu Xincheng. It was a lovely and happy afternoon for all the people involved.
Theme of this Afternoon Tea is what characters Capital Normal students should have , and 9 students from several colleges and departments shared their views with the others. All the participants believed that Capital Normal students shall have dedicated ambitions, a sense of mission and responsibility and shall be confident at the same time.
Followed speeches by the students, Mr. Liu explained his specific views. He started with college student morality, brought forward the Diligent in Study concept of Max Weber, and warned the students for possible invasion of consumerism. Finally, President Liu summed up characters that Capital Normal students shall have as one word Tolerance .
One and a half hours elapsed before any one in the meeting noticed, and the students still had high spirits and they discussed issues such as college students opening businesses, academic courses allocation and etc with Mr. Liu, which our President answered one by one with great patience. All the people took a picture together at last.
The discussion came to an end in happy and warm atmosphere, and all the participant students expressed their willing for next round of President Invites You For Afternoon Tea to open soon.
